Another beautiful fall day. Just knocking more of this connector off. Accidentally paused the app from the beginning to just past the first mile, so the mileage is right, but the pace is off. Now to ride my bike back to my car!My little "C-Section" of the blogosphere. Browse if you please leave when you want to.

Ice Age Trail Connector (VanderBloemen Bog Area--> Valders)
Another beautiful fall day. Just knocking more of this connector off. Accidentally paused the app from the beginning to just past the first mile, so the mileage is right, but the pace is off. Now to ride my bike back to my car!Ice Age Trail Connector (Spring Lake Rd. --> VanderBloemen Bog Area)
Ice Age Trail Connector (Cty. Rd. FF --> W. Washington)
Ice Age Trail (LaBudde Creek --> Glenbeulah)
Ice Age Trail (Cty Rd. A --> Glenbeulah)
A long mosey on the ice age trail. It took a long time, but I wouldn't trade it for anything because I got to spend time with one of my kids (Silas)

The Trail
What is it about a nature trail
that really calms me down
It takes me away from life's busyness
Makes me smile from what was once a frown
Is it something about the fresh air
Or the quietness all around
Maybe it's the company that come with me
Or the wind that makes its sound
The forest is a place of beauty
With its colors and its wonder
The weather can produce some challenges
From rain to lightning and thunder
God created humans in a garden
Not in a high-rise somewhere in the city
To me that makes a lot of sense
Why seeing a trail marker makes me giddy
I'm thankful for what God has created
For the dirt, the grass andthe weeds
I like to look up above my head
And watch the dancing trees
So as I look to tomorrow
For another chance to lace up my boots
Thank you God for your creation
And bringing me back to my roots
For it is from dust that I came
And dust that I will eventurally return
But I have the promise of heaven
And for that trail I truly yearn
Jesus walked a lot of trails
Some with people and some totally alone
He had an appreciation for nature
Until he reached His throne.
Thank you God for flowers
For thistles that cut like a knife
Most importantly thank you for your Son
And for eternal life
